How to get emo hair?

I really love emo hair but whenever I ask for something that looks emo it turns out to be ugly.Are there any good styles for and heart shaped/circular shaped face?And how can I ask the hair stylist for the cut without saying "I want emo hair"?Thankss.%26lt;3 Pics are helpful. ;)

Go for a longer cut to suit your face- your hair doesn't HAVE to be short to be emo. Emo is about being original and expressing yourself- don't conform to the 'emo girls must have short hair' stereotype!

Try getting some different color for some 'emo-ness.' Black, of course, is usually what people go for, especially when they get some red or blue streaks to go with it. But it will probably look great however you color it- be original and express yourself.

Well you could ask for like shoulder length with two or three different layers (really short ones on top) i got my hair done like that it looks sweet on pretty much anyone.

(there is one short hair pic in there, the last one). if you don't have long hair and you're worrying about that, just get extentsions. jessica simpson's are the best, because since they're human hair, you can straighten them.
