Im a male and last summer i decided to grow my hair out to about a little shorter then shoulder length, but the summer heat made me cut it due to discomfort. The hair stylist messed up and ended up cutting my hair alot shorter then i wanted(fade). I think she cut it in the wrong direction because when my hair dries out after showers it scrunches up into waves that are unmanageable. Ive been using the Sunsilk Straighten-Up Shampoo and conditioner but it doesnt seem to be working too well.

well i've been a hair stylist for 12 years and hair cannot be cut in a wrong direction. you have natural curly hair you just didn't notice it very much because it was a lot longer. the longer the hair the less curly it will be the shorter the hair the curlier it will be. and shampoo and conditioner will not solve your problem.you need a pomade or gel type product.you would put it in after your hair is dry and don't use too much or it will look greasy.
