Does anyone know whats the best hair serum to get to protect your hair?

I just got a hair cut and my stylist used this one product on my hair that started with therma-something, I can't remember. So now I'm trying to find something that can protect my hair from my curling iron and my straightener. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm tried heat protection spray but that doesn't seem to do the trick...

I use John Frieda thermal protection oil. It's in a small bottle, honey in color and it's about 9 dollars at wal-mart. It works very good, but only put it at the ends of your hair so that they dont get split.

well your looking for a thermal spray i use redkind spray starch, matrix sleek looks spray down somthin....and every good brand has one!...and they all work great just remember yer gettin what you pay for!
